Social Media Design and Motion Design for Ray-Ban: #YouAreOn, including the creation of a social media post, a banner, and a video using the brand’s official assets and visual guidelines.

Context

Il progetto è stato realizzato nell’ambito di una Job Application per Luxottica, prendendo come riferimento la campagna Ray-Ban #YouAreOn, iniziativa dedicata alla personalizzazione degli occhiali e all’espressione della propria identità attraverso il prodotto. Partendo dagli asset forniti dal team, è stato richiesto lo sviluppo di una proposta creativa composta da banner, contenuto social e video, lasciando piena libertà interpretativa nell’esecuzione. 

Social e Motion Design

The project enhances the communicative strength and iconic elegance of Ray-Ban, maintaining a visual language consistent with the brand positioning and primarily targeting a younger audience. The concept of #YouAreOn is interpreted as an expression of individuality, belonging, and participation in a contemporary community strongly connected to trends and personalization. The motion design video, characterized by a fast pace, dynamic transitions, and a rock soundtrack, emphasizes energy, character, and expressive freedom, transforming static assets into an engaging and immediate narrative.

My takeaways

Although it was a job application, the project gave me the opportunity to work with a global brand characterized by a strong identity and well-established guidelines. The experience allowed me to experiment with motion design and social communication while maintaining a high level of visual consistency. The work was also appreciated by the communications team, representing an important validation of the design direction undertaken.
