3D Product Design and Amazon Content Design for the digital communication of the Flumello Kalimba.
Context
The project was developed during a professional experience at an Amazon Accelerator in Utrecht, Netherlands. The objective was to create visual assets for Flumello, a brand specializing in the sale of kalimbas and musical accessories. The Flumello Kalimba is a 17-key instrument crafted from mahogany wood, designed to be intuitive and beginner-friendly, and accompanied by educational content and dedicated accessories.
The Product
The project involved the complete 3D modeling of the Flumello Kalimba and the production of images intended for Amazon product listings and EBC (Enhanced Brand Content). Through high-fidelity rendering, technical images, explanatory visuals, and lifestyle shots were created to highlight materials, construction details, included accessories, and the product’s perceived quality, improving its commercial presentation.
My takeaways
This project allowed me to explore the relationship between 3D product design, advertising, and online sales, gaining a deeper understanding of the visual communication logic within the Amazon ecosystem. The experience taught me how to design images that are not only aesthetically effective but also conversion-oriented, combining realistic rendering, visual storytelling, and the enhancement of product features within a competitive e-commerce environment.
